Don’t Track My Location is a huge shift from other songs I have written so it’s a wonder why I chose it as my 2nd release.
The song itself has a lot of confidence and is really a summer travel song. It’s full of reggaeton, haughty laughter, and pure unhinged fun. It is a tame song for people who have both apps and people tracking their location and embraces the irony of social media watchers never really knowing the full story.
On my way back from a week-long Mondo.NYC conference, I was at peak excitement. I wrote Don’t Track My Location the day after. On that same morning, I fractured my toe, drank two cups of coffee, and had an energy drink to keep me awake after long travels. They say pain builds character. Well, it also evokes new sides to our creativity.
Have fun and get a laugh out of all the vocal theatrics in Don’t Track My Location.
